A total of 390 drivers were booked for various traffic offences over the weekend.

Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra said out of these, 302 were booked for speeding and 9 were booked for drunk driving.

Meanwhile, police are still looking for the truck driver who was involved in the fatal hit and run accident in Navua on Saturday morning.

A 47 year old construction worker died in the accident and according to police the driver of the container truck fled the scene.

Police believe the driver is somewhere in the Western Division.
