Police are now awaiting the post mortem report of the 40 year old Nadawa Crane Operator Salesh Prakash whose body was found on Sawani Serea Road over the weekend.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern ASP Arthur White confirmed that three people including Prakash's wife, have been taken into custody for questioning and charges are expected to be laid once they receive the post mortem report.
Two other people were taken into custody last night after some critical information was given to them by Prakash's wife who has been in custody since Monday night.
White said they cannot reveal the motive behind the killing as some other people are also being investigated. There were visible signs of injury on Prakash's body.
