Police are now awaiting the post mortem report of a 32 year old man who was allegedly abducted from his house in Manoca, Nausori Saturday night and who was later found dead in Vishnu Deo road in Nakasi.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Arthur White has confirmed they are still looking for the group of youths who are alleged to have forcefully taken Sukul Deo from his home in a van.
His family lodged a report with Nausori Police station soon after the incident, however after some time, they received a call from police to come and identify his body which was found in Vishnu Deo road Nakasi at around 7.30pm.
Some residents also saw a Pajero parked beside the body.
Police say they have not ruled out foul play, however the cause of death will determine the line of investigations.
