Police are now waiting for the post mortem report on the 38 year old man and 34 year old woman whose bodies were found in an apartment in Valelevu yesterday afternoon.

Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergent Suliano Tevita said more information on the discovery of the bodies will be released once the cause of death has been established later today.

According to Tevita the couples who were in a de-facto relationship and were running a Kura soap business were reported missing on 19th December last year.

The families thought that the two had gone overseas in relation to some business matters.

When police went to the apartment, the two bodies were found in the bathroom in a pool of dried blood.

Meanwhile, residents and construction workers in an industrial area in Valelevu are in shock after the discovery of two bodies.

One of the construction company workers, Joeli said they had earlier thought that the couple was still alive.

However he said they were worried after the couple's car was stolen on New Year's Eve.

That’s when the matter was reported to the Police.
