Police are now awaiting the post mortem of the Form 7 student whose body was found in Batiri, Labasa on Thursday.
The victim was reported missing on Wednesday.
Director CID SSP Kishore Kumar says it is alleged the victim was unhappy about his exam results prior to the incident, however this is all subject to investigations.
Kumar says they hope parents and guardians will spend quality time with their children to go over issues regarding the outcome of external examinations.
