The 40-year-old man who allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl in Nadi on Monday has been arrested.
He has been charged with one count of rape.
Police Spokesperson Inspector Josaia Weicavu says the man is in custody and is expected to be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The matter was reported to the Nadi Police Station by the victim’s aunt after the girl relayed the story to her.
