Police have arrested a man early this morning in relation to the alleged murder of a woman in Rakiraki whose torso was found inside a sack in Ra a few days ago.

Divisional Police Commander Western, SSP Emori Laqai has confirmed that the suspect was arrested after an early morning raid in Keiyasi.
The suspect is currently being questioned at the Rakiraki police station and is expected to be charged later today.

Director CID, SP Tevita Lesu confirmed that they have established that the victim was the suspect's girlfriend. The body was discovered by two women catching crabs in Ra.
