A team of police officers have arrested a suspect from Jittu Estate just after 6 this morning, who is alleged to be involved in the brutal murder of a 28 year old man of Koronivia, Nausori.
The alleged incident happened in Shalima street Raiwasa just after 5pm yesterday.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that two people are now in custody while the hunt continues for a third suspect.
Sokomuri said the deceased who is a tertiary student went to do some work at one of his homes in Shalima street when the three men who were drunk allegedly attacked him.
The three men who wanted to rob the deceased allegedly struck the tertiary student several times with a spade.
The post moterm of the deceased will be carried out later today.
