Police are appealing for information from members of the public on the whereabouts of 28 year old, Dei Vakabogi, who escaped from the Medium Prison Complex at Naboro between late Saturday and early Sunday morning.
Dei Vakabogi escaped with fellow prisoner Tevita Tui-na-savusavu, who was later recaptured in Lami town by a prison officer.
Vakabogi's home address is Vatua Place, New town in Valelevu.
He is currently serving a 6 year term for robbery with Violence and is due to be released in 2012.
Police have warned members of the public that harboring or assisting a prisoner is an offence.
