The prisoner Josefa Baleiloa who is still unconscious at the CWM Hospital's Intensive Care Unit, will be questioned by Police once his situation improves.
Police Spokesperson, Ema Mua had earlier confirmed that an investigation will be carried out to establish exactly how Baleiloa sustained such injuries.
It was earlier revealed that Baleiloa allegedly attacked the officers with a knife when they tried to apprehend him after he escaped from Naboro Maximum prison two weeks ago.
Baleiloa remains admitted under heavy Police guard.
