The Deputy Commissioner of Police Eroni Antonio confirms that a team of officers have now extended their search for the arms and explosives which was going to be used in the alleged assassination plot against the Interim Prime Minister and others.
Antonio said while they will not comment on the details of the search, he confirms that several areas in Suva and outside Suva are being searched.
Meanwhile, police are still investigating the discovery of ammunition and explosives from a man's house last weekend and are trying to establish if he is linked to the alleged assassination plot.
