A joint police and military operation uprooted marijuana plants in the highlands of Navosa with a street value of more than $2million.

Manager Major Crime, ASP Luke Navela who is in Navosa has confirmed that four people are being questioned at the Navosa Police Post.

It is believed the four with some others were cultivating the marijuana.

The team were in the highlands from the beginning of the week and raided the farms with the help of some villagers.

The marijuana plants uprooted have been sent to the Koronivia research station for analysis.
