Police will step up patrols in rural areas where temples are being targeted by thieves, after three temples were broken into on Sunday morning and thieves then set fire to a storeroom.
Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the message has been sent out and they are confident those responsible will be brought to justice.
Men broke into the three temples and stole assorted jewelry and money which was offered during prayers during the weekend.
