Police are expected to carry out more raids on farms to eradicate marijuana operations in the country.

Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said Police have identified farms and places where drugs are cultivated and those in charge of these will face harsher penalties for these sort of illegal operations.

Police in Tukavesi, Cakaudrove raided two farms near Nadamole Village where more than $200,000 worth of plants believed to be marijuana were discovered early last week.

Police are now looking for the owners of these plantations.
