The Police Force has decided to adopt a new strategy in preventing crime in the hope of reducing the crime rate.

Spokeswoman Ema Mua said the Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni has decided to launch the Crime Prevention week with weeklong crusade from the 14th to the 20th of December at Sukuna Park.

Mua said the launch will be marked with marches in the Central, Northern and Western Divisions at 3pm tomorrow. She added that this is a new strategy which has been getting alot of good responses from Churches and religious organisations.

She adds the Commissioner is optimistic that the new strategy will have a positive outcome.
