Lautoka Police are questioning five men who are alleged to have robbed a supermarket in Lautoka on Thursday night.
The supermarket owner was closing the shop when it is alleged that five masked men armed with cane knives, beer bottles and pinch bars entered the supermarket and assaulted the owner of the supermarket.
The robbers then threatened the employees before packing the money and assorted items worth $14,000 in a sack and fleeing the scene.
The suspects are believed to have been involved in a series of robberies in Lautoka. Police investigations continue.
