Police have confirmed they are still analyzing the comments made by Suva lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry and Close Up host Anish Chand in an interview that was to be aired on Fiji One's Close Up programme last Sunday.
Director Operations SSP Waisea Tabakau told Fijivillage that police at this stage are determining whether the Public Order Act was breached and whether any inciteful comments were made by the two.
When questioned by Fijivillage on whether the two can face charges even though the programme was not aired on Fiji One, SSP Tabakau said they have the powers to investigate any comments or materials that breach the Public Order Act.
