Police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed two salesmen of cash and other items totalling more than $44,000 on Monday.
The alleged incident took place in Bau Road, Nausori when the British American Tobbacco salesmen were collecting sales and distributing stock to shops in that area when they were attacked.
Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said the two suspects assaulted the two salesmen and ran away with over $41,000 and cigarettes worth $2000.
The company van was used as the getaway vehicle which was later found abandoned at Veisama Road. Police are calling on members of the public for more information.
