Police have received the forensic report from the Australian Federal Police Scientific Lab, on the Raiwaqa bus which burnt in Malageregere Sigatoka 2 months ago and claimed 12 lives.

Director Traffic SSP Ramend Raj said they received the detailed report last Friday and are currently studying it.

He refused to reveal any details of the report as they also need to seek some legal opinion.

Meanwhile, AFP Scientific Lab is expected to release the DNA reports of all the victims, their loved ones and samples of the burnt bus this week.

He added the 10 bodies will be released to their loved ones once they receive the DNA reports as the bodies still have not being identified.

Land Transport Authority CEO Etuate Koroi had confirmed earlier that an electrical fault in the bus was the cause of the fire.
