Police are questioning a man who allegedly hacked a 25 year old FIT student with a cane knife after a dispute over a cassava plantation yesterday.
Media Liaison Officer, Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed the incident took place in Nabua after the victim claimed that the Cassava plantation near his house belonged to him.
During the argument, the suspect allegedly got hold of a cane knife and struck the student who sustained serious injuries.
He is admitted at the CWM hospital.
