Police are questioning a man in relation to the $65,000 robbery at the Rajendra's Supermarket in Nakasi yesterday.

The man was arrested by a team of CID officers from the police headquarters after an extensive search last night. The hunt still continues for the other robbers.

Police have also revealed that the van used in the robbery was stolen minutes before the robbery.

It is alleged that the group hired the van from Nakasi and upon reaching Wainibuku they assaulted the driver before tying him up. They threw the driver in the bushes and took the vehicle to Rajendra's Nakasi branch where the robbery occurred.

Meanwhile, police are looking for people who broke into the Fresh'et International outlet in Walubay and stole $78,000 cash, a watch and other items valued at more than $108,000 over the weekend.

The break-in was discovered yesterday when the shop was opened for business.

Entry into the shop was gained by cutting the roofing iron.
