A Daily Post reporter was taken in for questioning by police this morning.
Police have confirmed that Issac Lal was taken from his home in Samabula this morning around 10am and was questioned and released after 3 this afternoon.
It is understood that Police spokeswoman Ema Mua lodged an official complaint aginst Lal for allegedly wrongfully quoting her in relation to a front page story in yesterday's paper that injured prisoner, Josefa Baleiloa was part of an assassination plot.
Daily Post General Manager Mesake Koroi has also confirmed Lal being taken in for questioning this morning.
