A 28 year old man is currently being questioned for allegedly raping an 18 year old student in Toorak early yesterday morning.
Police Media Officer, Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that the 28 year mechanic requested the victim to stop a taxi for him at a night club, and then dragged the victim inside with him. He took her to an isolated area in Toorak and allegedly raped the girl three times.
The girl's cries for help were heard by a police officer on patrol who came to her assistance and the suspect was arrested at the scene.
