Navosa Police are questioning two men and a woman after more than $25,000 worth of marijuana was recovered from them yesterday.

Assistant spokesperson Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed that a team of officers from the Navosa Police Station stopped their vehicle and recovered a bag containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

The officers were conducting an operation when they stopped the vehicle and conducted a search. In the process, one of the suspects threw a bag away, which was later recovered by police.

The dried leaves weighed about 4kg and have been sent for analysis.
