Police are investigating a case where some of its own Officers were allegedly involved in a break-in and also used a Police vehicle after a drinking party in Savusavu Police barracks earlier this month.
A team of Police Officers from Labasa will today head to Savusavu where these Officers are expected to be questioned and charged.
It is alleged on the 6th of this month an Inspector, a Corporal, a Woman Police Constable and another Police Constable from Savusavu Police station had a drinking party in their quarters.
It is than alleged the Police Constable broke into ladies Police barrack and stole some items. The value of the items is not known at this stage.
The Police Corporal is also alleged to have driven a Police vehicle under the influence of liquor to drop a workmate home.
The four Police Officers are expected to be charged later today.
