Police Nab 4 Wanted for Robberies
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita confirms the four all from Suva and aged between 20 to 23 years and were involved in a series of robbery and unlawful use of motor vehicle cases in the Southern and Eastern Division.
All are in custody at Rakiraki Police station and will be escorted back to Suva shortly.
Meanwhile, a family is facing a bleak Easter Sunday after a fire completely destroyed their one bedroom house with its contents at Muanikoso squatter settlement early this morning.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita confirms the house belonged to a 37 year old woman and was vacant when the fire started.
She was away at a neighbor’s residence when the house caught fire.
The estimated cost of damage is estimated to be around $3000 and Police are now trying to establish the cause of fire.
