The National Fire Authority has joined hands with the Fiji Police Force in promoting Road Safety week which starts next week.
Corporate Affairs Officer Mileta Ting said the NFA is called in times of tragic accidents for rescue.
Ting adds they have the specialist equipment like the Jaws of Life claws to cut open any vehicle to release a victim during a road accident.
The road safety week program will be held in Suva on Thursday with a march from the flea market to Sukuna Park.
