Police are closely monitoring the nationwide strike by the members of the Fiji Nursing Association.
The National Command Centre base at the Central Police Station has also confirmed that they are also keeping a close watch on the FNA headquarters at McGregor Road.
A team of officers from the mobile unit are also patrolling the area to ensure that law and order is maintained.
Six police officers have been deployed to the CWM Hospital to ensure that peace is maintained.
