Police and military officers have interrogated a New Zealand National after he was acting in a suspicious manner at a hotel in Suva last week.
Police Operations Director SSP Waisea Tabakau said it is a normal police operation and he will not give the details of the investigation as it is an issue of National Security.
Tabakau said it is believed that the man is a police detective.
Meanwhile, Military Spokesperson and Deputy Secretary for Information Major Neumi Leweni said the issue is a concern and police have taken the right action.
