Police in Tukavesi, Cakaudrove are now trying to locate the owners of plantations where more than $200,000 worth of plants believed to be marijuana were discovered earlier this week.
Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said 2 separate raids were carried out after information received from members of the public.
Sokomuri said these raids indicate that people are still engaged in these illegal activities and when caught they will face the consequences.
He added they are still working closely with northern communities to eradicate marijuana operations.
The 2 raids were carried out at farms near Nadamole Village.
Investigations continue.
