Police are looking for a man who is alleged to have poured kerosene and lit a house in Vatuwaqa yesterday.
It is alleged that the man went to his former girlfriend’s house yesterday and after an argument poured kerosene and lit the fire.
The three flat house was completely destroyed.
A 22 year old occupant of the house is admitted in the CWM Hospital after he received serious burns while trying to escape from the burning house.
The 22 year old woman who was allegedly assaulted by his former partner is also admitted in hospital after receiving injuries.
She is also in a serious condition.
According to police, they have the identity of the suspect and he is expected to be arrested soon.
