Police are looking for a Vatubalavu villager, who is believed to be the main drug farmer in the area and who has been evading arrest.
This is after two of his farmers, conveyed the information to police, after appearing in court on Monday.
Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said the man, who is the owner of the land, managed to plant more than three thousand Marijuana plants which were ready to be harvested, however preventing the actual harvest period, police and soldiers arrived in the area last week to conduct their raids.
Sokomuri said they have managed to destroy 22 farms and farmhouses after combing and conducting raids in Vatubalavu, Nanoko, Draiba and the Nausori Highlands.
About 90 police and military officers are continuing with the raids.
