Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run incident yesterday afternoon which claimed life of a 9-year-old student in Koronivia, Nausori.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said around 5pm yesterday the boy was walking along the road when he was hit by a passing car. The driver failed to stop after the incident.
The boy was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are calling on members of the public, to assist in identifying the driver.
