Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 59-year-old man of United States whose body was found floating near the Galoa coast early this week.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed that the deceased who was living in Pacific Harbour went diving with some of his friends.
His friends then went diving in the deep sea leaving him alone near the coast.
When his friends returned after diving, they found him floating.
A post mortem will be conducted later today.
