Police are investigating the death of a 25 year old man who is believed to have fallen from the roof of a workshop building at Kinoya Sewerage Treatment Plant yesterday afternoon.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita said the deceased who was an apprentice welder was doing work on the roof when it is believed that he slipped and fell on the pavement.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died. The post mortem is expected to be conducted later today.
Officials at the Sewerage Department and the OHS Department are yet to comment on the matter.
