A team of senior detectives from the CID headquarters, Samabula Police and Lami Police stations are now gathering information in relation to the alleged murder of 35 year old taxi driver, Murad Buksh over the weekend.
Divisional Crime Officer Southern, Superintendent Tevita Lesu said that a post mortem will be conducted later today to determine the cause of death.
SP Lesus said that they will also question a number of people in the vicinity where the body was found.
Police are also calling on the public for information.
