Police are investigating an incident where a 40 year old woman was admitted in hospital after a stabbing incident yesterday.
The victim who resides at a motel in Nadi with the suspect returned to the motel after a drinking party and called the suspect to open the door.
An argument developed between the two and as a result the victim was stabbed with a kitchen knife.
The 44 year old suspect is in police custody as investigations continue.
