National Fire Authority (NFA) and police are investigating the bus fire yesterday near Savusavu town.
Police PRO Atu Sokomuri said 15 passengers were inside the bus when the fire started.
He also said the bus driver used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire before officers from the NFA arrived.
All the passengers managed to escape unharmed.
