Police Investigate Pirate DVDs
It has been established that a shop at Roberston Road and certain DVD shops along Marks street have also been caught selling pirate Tadra Kahani DVD's.
The Central Police station has confirmed that police officers are now visiting each DVD shop and clamping down on those owners who are selling pirate DVD's and VCD's.
A stern warning has also been issued to all those other DVD shops who are selling pirate copies of Tadra Kahani DVDs.
Organisers of Tadra Kahani and official distributers of the Tadra Kahani DVD's, Total Event Company is disappointed with the sale of the pirate Tadra Kahani DVD's on our streets.
Total Event Company Director, Loretta Jackson said that twenty schools are given cash grants each year and people who are buying pirated DVD's should think twice before doing so as children will suffer at the end.
She has called on the authorities to step up and clamp down on the people selling these pirate DVDs.
Jackson added that plans are in the pipeline to increase the grants given to participating schools next year and this action by certain DVD shop owners will not do any good to the children.
She also has a message to the parents.
