Police will soon question a number of workers from the Labasa Sugar Mill who allegedly stole and sold newly bought metal from the mill.
Divisional Crime Officer Northern, ASP Luke Rawalai confirms they have received a complaint from the FSC Management and investigations have started.
Rawalai said they are now trying to establish the total cost of metal that has been stolen as it has been happening for some time.
According to Rawalai the metal was allegedly sold to some shops in Labasa and he has urged shop owners to refrain from buying stolen items.
