Police are investigating the death of a three week old baby in a fibre glass boat yesterday.
Director Operations SSP Waisea Tabakau said 4 adults and 4 children left from Cicia for Nayau on Friday and they were supposed to have reached their destination yesterday.
However, they failed to do so as their fibre glass boat developed engine problems and they had to spend the night on the boat. The three week old baby died while on the boat.
Police investigations continue.
