Police are investigating the death of a 1 year 6 month old baby who was found floating in the sea near the Nakorotubu village in Ra yesterday afternoon.

According to police, the baby was left alone at home with his 2 year old sister when he was discovered missing.

The baby's mother went out fishing while the father was in the farm leaving the two babies together.

It is believed that the baby walked off to the beach where he was later found floating by some villagers.

Police have once again called on parents not to leave their children alone and to closely monitor their movement as negligence can cost them their lives.
