Police are investigating the death of a 60 year old woman who died after being found unconscious in Valelevu, Nasinu, yesterday.

Police Media Officer, Atunaisa Sokomuri said that the woman was taken to the hospital however she passed away later and Police believe it was a hit and run case.

Police are urging members of the public to contact their nearest police station if a member of their family is missing.

Meanwhile, the woman is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, she was wearing a blue printed top with a black skirt and is of fair complexion. She was carrying a brown handbag with her.
