Police are investigating the cause of a fire which completely destroyed a house in Kukusau Road in Nadawa while another house adjacent to the building was also partly destroyed.
Valelevu police has confirmed the fire started at about 11pm and completely destroyed the house.
The fire quickly spread to another house however quick action by the firefighters stopped the fire from spreading further.
Police believe the fire started from a candle left burning in one of the rooms, however police are still investigating.
The cost of damage is yet to be estimated.
