Police are investigating a brutal killing of a 19 year old minivan driver of Waidova settlement, Navua yesterday.

Divisional Crime Officer Southern, Superintendent Tevita Lesu has confirmed that they are stab wound on the victim’s chest and neck and they are treating the case as murder.

The victim was last seen with two passengers in Pacific Harbour and his body was found in a pool of blood later in the afternoon.

Superintendent Lesu said that his officers are trying to establish whether the victim was also robbed.

Post mortem is expected to be conducted tomorrow to determine the cause of his death.
