Police are now interviewing those applicants of the Fiji School of Nursing (FSN) who had allegedly bribed a former assistant minister and his agents to get a place in the school.

Divisional crime officer northern Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Luke Rawalai confirmed the investigation has taken a lot of time as they had to interview a number of people.

He added they will be interviewing five more applicants in the next two days.

Meanwhile, it was also revealed earlier that some farmers in Labasa had given goats and food as bribes for their children to be given a place in FSN.

It is alleged the former assistant minister had obtained more than $85,000 from about 15 people.
