Labasa police are hunting for a group of thieves who broke into six Labasa shops early this morning.
The shops are located on the main street of Labasa town and police said the break-in might have taken place between 1 and 2 o’clock this morning.
Police said they do not have the identity of the thieves as yet and are appealing for information from the general public.
Thieves managed to take a large sum of cash from the shops, however, the total amount of money stolen is not known at this stage.
