Police are urging members of the public to assist in the arrest of an escaped prisoner.
33 year old farmer Sakiasi Ratu of Namotomoto village escaped from Nadi police cell block after cutting the iron bar.
Ratu was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment by the Nadi Magistrates Court for larceny and was taken to the cell block when he escaped.
