Police have extended their search of two missing girls to the nearby rivers of Malabi Wainibuka who died after a landslide in Wainibuka on Saturday night.
Deputy Director Police Operations SP Erami Raibe said it was a huge landslide and they need machines to clear the debris.
SP Raibe added that the search will continue today with the assistance of nearby villagers.
Meanwhile, the body of a 19-year-old youth was recovered on Saturday night.
On Saturday afternoon a Class 8 student was washed away by strong currents in Lautoka.
In Ba, a 31-year-old man died after he was washed away by strong currents and another man was washed away by strong currents after swimming in the Wailoa River, in Monasavu.
