Police are expected to lay charges on the 18 year old student who was involved in an accident in Nadi Back road last night which resulted in the death of two people in seperate vehicles.
The Acting Divisional Traffic Officer Western, Inspector Narayan Sami said a 48 year old farmer of Mulomulo Mohammed Hafiz and a 48 year old self employed man of Nakurakura Nadi Wilson Forete Rigamoto died instantly after their cars collided head on.
He said the incident happened after the farmer driving his private vehicle tried to save an 18 year old student who did not stop his vehicle after coming out of a junction resulting in the farmer swerving to the other side of the road hitting another car head-on.
Sami said the student is expected to be charged tonight and presented in court tomorrow.
